The aftercare of your tattoo will greatly determine the way your tattoo will look once it has fully healed. Wear your bandage for around 2-3 days (Minimum 24 hours). Remove it and wash the tattoo gently with gentle/non-perfume soap. Gently pat dry with a paper towel. Do not rub back and forth. Let air for 1 hour AND USE unscented lotion OR uncontaminated coconut oil can be applied to your tattoo. You will need to wash your new tattoo 1-2 times daily as above and apply lotion 3-4 times a day. DO NOT PICK SCABS. This will cause your tattoo to bleed and will pull ink out of your skin. No scratching. Avoid body wash, lotions, and shampoos that have fragrances. Do not go swimming or go into a hot tub for at least 2 weeks. Avoid direct exposure to the sun. After the tattoo has fully healed, you will want to wear sunscreen over it when spending long periods in direct sunlight, to keep it looking bright and new. Do not put any sunscreen on a tattoo that has not fully healed. Wear loose clothing over your tattoo while it heals to avoid any rubbing that may pull off scabs.

The cost of a tattoo all depends on the size and detail of your piece. Kim's hourly rate is $175 with a minimum charge of $125. We do require a consultation for all tattoo services. This consultation is completely complimentary.

A brand new tattoo will feel like a sunburn during the first day or two. You should be fully healed within 2 weeks time.

The tattoo artist will advise you on specifically what you will need to do after the tattoo. Until the tattoo is healed, you will need to protect the tattoo from direct sunlight and avoid prolonged wetness (swimming, bath tubs, hot tubs etc. )

Yes, it is safe to get a tattoo. Every tool and piece of equipment is sterilized. All tattoo needles are a 1-time use only – They arrive to us from the manufacturer in individual pre sealed packages.

You can take a look at your artists Instagram to see their previous work – OR if you have an idea, bring in your rough sketch or picture and your artist can draw something up for you.
