During your peel, your skin will be cleansed and prepped before the customized AlumierMD peel is applied. You may feel a mild tingling or warm sensation—this is normal and typically lasts only a few minutes. The treatment is quick and effective, usually taking about 30–45 minutes total. After the peel, calming and hydrating products are applied to soothe the skin and support healing.

To prep for your peel, avoid using retinol, exfoliants, and active ingredients (like AHAs, BHAs, or vitamin C) for at least 5–7 days before your appointment. Skip any waxing, threading, or laser treatments in the area being treated, and avoid direct sun exposure or tanning. Come to your appointment with clean skin—no makeup, lotions, or SPF.

After your peel, your skin may feel tight, dry, or slightly red, with light flaking or peeling expected over the next few days. Avoid sun exposure, heat, sweating, and active skincare for 5–7 days. Use only the post-care products provided, and apply SPF daily to protect your skin. Don’t pick or peel flaking skin—let it come off naturally to avoid irritation or damage. Your skin will gradually feel smoother and appear brighter as it heals.
